I have this simple macro which moves a vertical or horizontal range of text to the right (also a similar for moving to the left):
1. I would like it to NOT work if it is about to overwrite ANY text in the moving path.

2. This macro also doesn't work properly if the active cell starts on the right because of the way the bolded lines are written. If you have any ideas, please help me out!

Just to be clear, "overwrite ANY text in the moving path" means don't do it if the destination range has text, correct?
