    Auto Entry to Manual Entry

    Dear Experts

    I have posted this question in many different ways. But no reply and none solved.

    Please help me in this task on manual time entry. I have attached the workbook of auto entry.
    But I am in need at least one of the below

    1. manual entry and
    2. retrieve the same record to do correction if any and save them to the same record

    It will be great help! Thank you

    If you want manual time entry then you don't need a macro? Just type in the time... if that's not what you mean, maybe no answers because the question is not clear. "Retrieve same record".... same as what?

    Thank for your response Arkadi.

    Below is the requirement what i exactly needed

    Please help me to store and retrieve data from one sheet to another sheet
    I have two worksheet, one is Entry and other is storage sheet

    In Entry worksheet - I have Employee code and Name list in F and G Cells
    Date in C1 , In time H:H, Out time I:I, Break time J:J

    In Storage worksheet : Please help me in adding input data to Storage worksheet
    Emp. Code A:A, Emp. Name B:B , Date C:C, Intime D:D, Outtime E:E, Break F:F, Total Hrs G:G (D+E-F)

    1. On clicking ADD button Entry Sheet data must be stored to Storage Sheet according to the attachment

    2. Retrieving the same data by selecting date in Entry Sheet, after changes made then Update and Save to the same again to Storage Sheet

    Kindly refer attachment.

    skhari, I think you have a problem with your total hours concept... you have put in your sheet that it equals the in time plus the out time, minus break?
    Should it not be Out Time - In Time - Break? Times would have to be in 24 hour format though.

    EDIT: I forgot to point the update button to the update macro, you just need to assign the macro to the button.
