Concatenate values from an active cell into that same cell

    Hi all,

Is this even possible? I'm trying come up with a macro to replace a the contents of a cell with a hyperlink ending with the cell's original contents. Is there a way to make a circular process like this work?

So, for instance, if A1=4052, I'd like to write a macro that converts A1 to something like www.website.com/4052. I have a clunky solution right now that involves an extra column, but I'd like to be able to press a button and have the highlighted cell append to the link.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello telephone1652,

To help you get a solution, you need to provide more details. The best way to do this is by posting your workbook.

Please redact any sensitive or confidential information before you post the workbook.

    How To Post Your Workbook
    1. At the bottom right of the Reply window, Click the button Go Advanced
    2. At the top of the Your Message Window, in the first row of icons, Click the Paperclip icon.
    3. Click the Add Files button at the top right in the dialog box. This displays the File Manager dialog.
    4. Click the Select Files button at the bottom middle of the dialog.
    5. In the new window Find the file you want to upload, select it, and Click Open.
    6. You will now be back in the File Manager dialog. Click the bottom Middle button Upload File.
    7. Wait until the file has completely uploaded before you exit the File Manager dialog.
    Sincerely,
    Leith Ross
