Covert Checkboxes To TRUE/FALSE

Hello

A workbook I have been given has checkboxes (thousands) down four columns and they do not appear to be linked to any cell but the are hovering over the cell the user intended to demonstrate a true/false. I want to pivot this data but the cells are truly blank underneath the checkboxes.

Is there a vba way to mass assign the checkbox values to the cell it is covering? Please tell me there is! See the attached sample workbook. The names have been changed to protect the innocent.

Thanks John. This looks like good way to do it if I were starting from scratch on a workbook. But I'm hoping there's a way to convert the thousands of existing checkboxes that currently store meaningful values into cell values I can pivot against. Is that even possible?

to account for the header row but other than that worked like a charm!

Related to this problem: I have multiple checkboxes within a cell. Is there any way to mass-convert checkboxes to True/False values?

Thank you for sharing your response. It helps. Can we make the location dynamic so that the TRUE/FALSE would move to 1 next cell each time?
