Excel Auto Populated Calendar with Date ranges - needing Selected dates highlighted

    Hello!

I found a wonderful resource for auto populating a calendar on here and I need some help making a few adjustments. Attached is the calendar of upcoming jobs. I was going to add lines for when various types of equipment (start and end date as the same date so that it only shows on one day) but I am already going to have to have up to 12 or more jobs showing per day depending on the branch. If Job A starts 7/1 and ends 7/31 and we have materials arriving on 7/1, equipment arriving 7/4, subcontractors working on 7/6-7/15 and equipment being picked up on the 13st, is it possible to have those dates showing the notes of what is happening or highlighted different colors?

The second adjustment is that I only want current and future jobs (jobs with an end date after the first of the current month) to populate the project tracker as the data can be massive.

    Thank you for your input!

    Megan

    Hello mwidner,

    Welcome to the Forum!

To help you find a solution, you need to provide more details. Can you post an example of how a day on the calendar would look ?
    Sincerely,
    Leith Ross

    Hi Leith,

Thank you for being open to helping We decided to go with only specific dates for the start and end dates as opposed to showing each active day for the duration of the project as a quick fix - but if there would be a way to show the entire duration of the project that would be phenomenal!

Attached is the calendar showing the specific dates of specific events.

    Thank you for your help!!

ALSO There are 12 rows for data - but on 6/15 we have 13 events to mark. Is there a way to either automatically add extra lines with the same formatting if there are additional events? and if not, can there be a message that pops up notifying that there are unaccounted for events on dates in the relative month?
