Need help with Macro to remove quantity

Hello everyone,
new to the forum and so far it has been a great help.
looked through a lot of threads which helped but was unable to further anything as just not even decently good with excel. soon i came across something that works with my needs but just need one thing added. i tried to copy old macro code and change value to a negative but no luck.

my need was for a 3 column inventory sheet to keep track of inventory in hand with a scanner. what i found actually does the trick when scanning a bar code and it updates the inventory.

what i truly need is another option to scan a bar code and it removes quantity of the related product.

now anyone could help me with a macro in which if a barcode is scanned within that specific column then a quantity is removed of the related product.

Now this code, does it matter which Column I set the removal scans on? For example if I select column H to be used only if quantity needs to be removed and select it before scanning, will that code work to remove a scanned quantity?

i have ran into a problem where if i scan a bar code longer than 11 digits, it turns it to scientific form and then the code messes up.

tried formatting the cells to different things but still no luck. it scans the first time and pulls up the information i entered in another cell, but if i try to scan another quantity in, it gives debug error.

any suggestions? i don't see any limitations within the code to 11 digits, but seems like its an excel thing in which too many digits are converted to scientific.
