    Texboxes ActiveX

    Hello!

I'd like to have 3 textboxes and be able move from one to another by hitting TAB key. I tried to group them in a Frame which allowed me to use the TAB key, however I'm not able to store their values or refer to them in a code.

    Any suggestions?

Change the TabIndex #, in the Properties window to the order you want the tab button to follow.

    Re: Texboxes ActiveX

Thanks, I found TabIndex only in Userform Textbox properties. I look for embedded Textboxes, so I went to: Insert\ ActiveX Controls\ More Controls\ MS Forms 2.0 Frame. Then Right Click on Frame \ Frame Object \ Edit, and inserted new texboxes from ToolBox menu.

You're welcome. Sorry, I gave you instructions for TextBox not realizing you were using ActiveX. FYI, ActiveX not a good idea, reeks havoc, a lot, avoid at all costs if possible.

    Hi,

I would recommend staying away from activeX as well. Try this code and see if it works.

    Re: Texboxes ActiveX

Hi and thanks all for your tips!
I just found out how to refer to embedded Textbox object value,
and must admit how simple it is. I only got confused with no Intellisense list and missing Textbox code field (only Frame available)
but now I realize why. That textbox is actually a part of Frame. I also attach here a simple example.
