Question How to avoid destination workbook to open as read-only

    Hi VBA Geeks,
    Hope your well.

    I have a quick question.

I have a VBA code which Jbeaucaire kindly added his input in a previous post
The issue I have is that if my destination workbook is open it pops up to save as the document(read only).

Apart from "sharing" the destination workbook to update data, is there another way I can avoid this scenario?

The working spreadsheets will be used by multiple users and the master spreadsheet could be open when the users run the working spreadsheet macro button, this is the main issue. I want the users to have there changes updated on the master anytime they want.

I have created a time-wait, so in every working spreadsheet it will be run differently, if users click the macro button at the same time it would reduce the likelihood of a overwrite clash that way.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
