Getting the records from the data dump date wise

Hi All,

I am working on a data dump which is not structured properly.I am new to excel/VBA.Could someone help me in getting the records count date wise.
I have attached both regular sheet and required sheets with this mail.

I would be really grateful if someone here can help me through VLOOKUP or macros.(Anything would do)

Thanks for the solution.That works fine.Could you help me in getting data with one more criterion (there are two types Renewal and NEW).
First New and RENEW.Just like in the doc attached with this.Lookup would also do.
