Question "FILTER" equivalent function of google spreadsheet in Excel

no flattering and just being frank about it , i love this excelforum more than any other Q&A forums, i have learned alot from here.

I am an Excel addict and cannot stop my self from learning more.

I ran into some problem the other day, I needed to use the "FILTER" function of Google spreadsheet in Excel, but there is no such function in Excel to do exactly as FILTER function does in Spreadsheet.

is there any UDF solution for this?

    thanks.

You probably will need Index (Not as straight forward as the Filter Function) to extract only those rows that match a certain criteria..

Or else, AutoFilter if that suffices your needs..
