    Make column editable without deleting the formula

    Hi,

    I have a column that i am calculating based on another column values so it has some default values and formula in it initially but i am want to make this column editable by making user enter their own values but i dont want to delete the formula.

    With the help of VBA?

    If you enter values in the column with the formulas they will go disappear.

    If you post the workbook will be easier for us to understand.

    How about this

    Leave the formula in your cell
    if the user selects the cell the formula disappears
    the user types a value or not, up to them
    the user selects another cell
    if the cell is empty the formula re-appears

    The attached file has a formula in C3. It works as described above.

    Right click on the sheet name at the bottom of excel and select view code to view or edit the code.

    This version works for the whole of column C

    There are three macros here

    An Auto open to set the Last Cell

    And two Sheet Specific macros.

    I assume you will be using one formula in the column.

    This is what i am looking for but i have cell from range E15 to E74 and E15:E29 have same formula and E30:E74 have same formula.

    And it has formulas so by default i want those values where you are showing today's date.

    Please help with this.
