Macro to Print a User-Defined Row of Data

With the help of people on this forum I was able to create a great spreadsheet that I use during a local fishing tournament to track teams, weights of fish, and automatically calculate winners - THANK YOU! I attempted to insert a picture of my spreadsheet below, not sure if the image will show or not (it doesn't in preview mode). Nonetheless, I am looking for a macro that will allow me to very quickly push a macro button that will prompt the user to input a row number and then print just that row (along with the header information), all of which I would like to do with just a couple of mouse clicks and by entering a row number. I want to be able to print the header info from A1:L1 and then a row of data that is selected by user when prompted to select the row. I want to do this so that after we weigh a teams fish we can give them a print out of their data. Is there a way to do this with a macro? We are very limited on time during the weigh in and we simply don't have time to select a row of data by hand and then send it to the printer, which is prone to errors and time consuming. As a side bar, there are commercially available software programs that allow fishing tournament officials to do this, but I have taken a lot of pride in my spreadsheet and am very pleased with how well it works, with the exception of this new function that is.

Any suggestions you have would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi there,

That shouldn't be too difficult to achieve. Can you post a sample of your workbook here so that I can play with it for a bit?

I can probably avoid even having to enter a row number - just select the cell containing the Team Name, and then click on a Print button.

    Regards,

    Greg M

    Hi there,

Take a look at the attached version of your workbook and see if it does what you need.

You just select the cell containing the Team # of the team whose results you want to print and then click on the new Print button on the worksheet.

Hope this helps - please let me know how you get on or if there's anything you want me to explain to you.

    Regards,

    Greg M

Greg, is there a way to stop the print out at column L rather than column N?
