Using the Active Sheet name in a formula without referencing the actual name

Hi - I'm pretty new to macros and was wondering if there is a way to use the active sheet name in a formula without actually specifying what the name is? For example I know that the name of the active sheet would just be ActiveSheet.Name whether it is called Sheet1, Sheet2, etc.

So my current problem is here:

However, the name of Sheet1 could be anything - Sheet20 for example and I don't want to have to change the name of the sheet to get the macro to work. It's just the activesheet though, so is there a way to insert that into the formula to make the macro work still?

    Thanks so much!

If its the active sheet then you dont need to reference it at all?

ie a formula on Sheet1 to reference Sheet2 cell A1 would use

however the same formula in cell B1 of Sheet2 would only be =A1

or am I totally misunderstanding the query?

That makes a lot of sense to me but then if I get rid of the Sheet1 I get the yellow highlight - I'm not sure if it's because part of my formula is referencing a different workbook/worksheet?

Oops - nevermind, I just accidentally deleted part of the formula. It worked great! Thanks so much haha I feel silly!
