assign macro to multiple activex controls

I have multiple check and combo boxes on a worksheet. Whenever these activeX controls are altered in any way (checked/unchecked or a different item in a list selected), I would like a range of cells to be deleted. Is there any other more elegant way to do this than to assign this macro to each activeX control one by one?

For every checkboxes, u need to write a separate code to perform the operation.
Rather i could suggest using shapes (say Rectangle) and generalise your macro once and keep assigning it all shapes..
