Custom controls placement question

All,

I've got a spreadsheet (2010) with a few text boxes and buttons but the sheet is getting crowded and the controls don't look very nice just sitting at the top of the sheet. Is there any way of using the ribbon to contain my controls or perhaps a form? I've added a custom ribbon tab but there doesn't seem to be a way of pasting my controls etc. in to the ribbon.

Any thoughts on the ribbon or some other way of displaying my controls?

Yes, try "Custom UI Editor for Microsoft Office". You can make a custom ribbon very easy.
