    Worksheet change error

    Hi,

I have the following system error (attached) that says "Object Required". I don't know what it means and how to fix it.

It comes from a worksheet I have named reference tables, multiple dependent drop lists and macros.

If I do not enable the macros this error does not appear but obviously does not run the macros.

Once I enable the macros I can still run through the drop down menus and run the macros but this error comes up every time I select a cell to edit or to use the drop down menu.

Very frustrating. In addition if I copy this sheet into another workbook I have the same problem.

    Many thanks

    Re: Worksheet change error

To get an answer that is better than just a guess, you should post a sample workbook or at least the macro code that seems to be responsible. (the worksheet_change macro for sheet1 and maybe anything it references).

Ok here it is. I've changed the entry input cells to arbitrary ones, but everything else remained the same

    Re: Worksheet change error

It looks like your table is named Categories, but you refer to it in your code as DataEntryTable.

    Maybe you changed the name?

Anyway this line seems to work if you want to change it from what it is now to Categories.

    Good Luck.
