Error in using formula array

Hello everyone
I'm trying to use this line of code but i got an error

The error : Unable to set the formula array property of the range class
run time error 1004

Hi Yasser,

I don't think there is anything wrong with your code! Have you checked your data?

I put this into a test sheet with some dummy data in the names you nominated.

I tested the formula in the worksheet, and it worked.

I then tested it in a macro, and I ended up with the formula in cell D7 as you expected.

I checked my sheet again and discovered that it is not allowed to put array formula in merged cell
So the merge was the cause of the problem

I.e., Unmerge, insert array formula, merge it again.

I discovered that piece of information after correcting the error .
