Need to convert .ods files into .xlsx using excel macro

I need to convert Open Office spreadsheet (.ods extension files) into MS Office(.xlsx extension files) for which i tried a macro in MS Office Excel. But it throws a error and not able to convert.

Logic Used in Macro:
1. Open .ods file in MS Office Excel.
2. Save file as .xlsx
3. Close

It is throwing error in Step 2.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
