DATA
Company Bank 2015
A X 5
A Y 3
A X 3
B Z 4
B Z 5
B X 6
C Z 7
C Z 8
C Z 9
C Y 10
D X 11
D X 12
E Z 13

Can SUMIF Help me?

No but SUMIFS can. See attached.

By the way, your question may be simple but the way you have presented it makes it hard to understand what you are asking. I had to spend a few minutes reading it over and analyzing your data to figure out what you are asking.

You can use sumproduct
You may use older version of excel (I think 2003)

Obviously I am not seeing a #VALUE error or I wouldn't have provided that file. Did you implement the formula in a different file and are now seeing an error? Can you attach your real file?

YasserKhalil's solution is a good one, and the best one for versions of Excel older than 2007.
