    VBA ProjectPassword

This is part of another thread I have, but this is a different problem. So here we go,when the sample workbook has vbaproject password and you click the commandbutton Outlook
will open behind the workbook. If there is no vbaproject password then Outlook will open on top of workbook?. Any ideas on what or where I should go to fix problem.Looking for any suggestion on this, tried on different computer with Excel 2007 and same problem,I'm running office 2013 32 bit.

It's working fine for me in either configuration.

    Re: VBA ProjectPassword

Just tried it with Windows 7 64 bit, Excel 2007 32-bit. Works fine with, or without a password. In both cases, it loads the Outlook window in front of the Excel window.

No help but maybe it narrows down the possibilities.

You're welcome. Thanks for the rep.

I guess that it's starting to point to Office 2013, or maybe a configuration option. Unfortunately, I can't offer any further help.

It's not. It's just your computer.

That's how I feel when no one else can replicate a problem I'm having.

    Re: VBA ProjectPassword

I think the OP has now tried it on 3 different computers with 2 versions of excel and is getting the same result on each one, which is not the result that the 3 of us are getting. I think the problem is........., I don't' know! It has had me baffled for days.

    Re: VBA ProjectPassword

Tried a dozen codes for opening outlook and sending mail, they all work. But put a vbaproject password on them they all open outlook behind workbook.I do not understand why the password would
cause this.Different people try the example workbook and works perfect with or without password.Tried example on laptop with new excel install and have same problems,All ideas are welcome on
a possible fix to this. My computer is windows7 64 bit running 32 bit office2013,my labtop is windows7 32bit running office 2013 32 bit. Missing something simple here I think, just can't get a finger on it.Maybe someone that tried it and saved with a different password can post that workbook with password and will try that.I will try anything right now.

The common factor still seems to be Office 2013.

Will see if I can get someone else to look at it.

You are probably closer to the magnetic North Pole than the rest of us. It's probably magnetic field related. Drive to Texas and see if the problem goes away.

Ditto. Thanks for the update and code. Tried it and it works for me ... though I guess I didn't have the problem in the first place.

That said, always interesting to have new examples, particularly late binding.
