    John,

Thank you very much for your fast respond, I really appreciate it.

the original code just remove the highlight color to none at this level:

with your correction the cell kept the highlight (yellow in this case).

I really want to see where the active cell is without removing or replacing the actual color of the cell.

    Thanks again.

    Respectfully,

    Alex

    Daffodil11,

Your code is what I'm looking for, but when I insert it in the worksheet or workbook I can add any other color to a cell, I understand that that is what the code is mean to do and also some background color change like in the test book1 I have attached, for red and purple background the color change. Can we find a work around this problem?

Thank you very much for your help with this issue, I really appreciate the time you have spend helping me.

    Respectfully,

    Alex

    Daffodil11,

You are the man, very interesting solution, at first didn't work because my workbook open with sheet 1 only, but reading your code I added sheet 2 and viola, work perfectly as I want, now I can very hide sheet 2. You just make my work so much easier going through 1000 of rows and columns.

Thank you very much, I truly appreciate you time helping me on this one. I know this will be very useful to others.

    Respectfully,
