Delete a row from 2 spreadsheets in a workbook based user input either by row or criteria

    Hi

I have been searching for a couple of days to try and find a way to delete a row from 2 worksheets in a workbook based on user input, this can be either using a row number or a criteria based on a column(B). I have tried amending various codes on line to no avail and would appreciate any assistance.

I have 2 worksheets in my workbook - Profit Take Workings & Cash Workings, both with have the same project numbers. The Profit Take Workings - has a number of columns that Cash Workings picks up by formula including: Project No. Project Name etc. These should be on the same row in each of the worksheets.

I would like the user to be able to delete the row with the relevant project number by either entering the project number or row.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks
    Shona

    Hi srennie,

    Welcome to the forum!

You could use a worksheet change event

Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.
