Hi,

I hope all is well. I'm a newbie with Excel and I'm hoping I can get help with this.

I manage data in excel and do lots of navigating on Internet Explorer 8 (why 8? it's what our company wants). What I would like is for excel to automate by navigating to those links for me. I would like the internet explorer application to open in the spreadsheet, instead of opening up the actual web browser application. I have the web addresses setup in columns CH, CI, CJ, CK, CL, CM, CN and once all the links in that range have been navigated , I would like it to fill the entire row color yellow (or whatever color) as an indication that the job has been completed for that row then move on to the next row and do the same over again until there's no more web address to navigate. Reason I would like webbrowser to open within the spreadsheet is that I'm hoping this automation tool to work independently as I will be opening up more web browsers and spreadsheet to work on something else and I hope the automation tool will not interfere. The webbrowser can be setup in a new sheet. Please see below picture. I have been watching videos in youtube and found this video almost similar to what I want but I have hard time understanding and don't really know how to use it to build what I'm looking for. Here's the link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q7aa76YFFW8. Please is this possible?

I have never worked with visual basic and have no clue how to code but I can definitely follow instructions. If it requires a button, then it can be created on column CG:2. I also forgot to mention that some of the web address takes a little bit of time to load and I want to make sure that once the automation tool navigates the web address, it also ensures that the pages has FULLY loaded, then it clicks the next one and so forth.
