Macro to choose different values from dropdown menu

Hi I have a drop down menu with different dates.

Next to it I wrote all different dates in a column and next to it have a formula for different values based on the date and another input. If i change the other input I need to rechoose all different dates so that all values update. Is there a quick way for a macro to auto refresh the formula for all dates instead of me manually choose all of them?

The answer is probably YES, but since there is no information here, I can't help you.

If you post a sample workbook, is may be clearer what you want.

    Regards,

    David

Please remember, your request is clearer if you attach a sample workbook.

    Test.xlsx

    Hi David,

please see attached. When i change the drop down of cell N8 I need to manually select all different dates in N9 so that the data in Q and S 13-20 updates. How can just program a button that i press and that automatically goes through all dates.

Re: Macro to choose different values from dropdown menu

This is a very complex model, but I think you are pointing me to the wrong cell! Cell N8 is Sale Date and N9 is Redidual Scenario (nothing to do with dates).

If you are talking about N7 and N8, than I can see that they get their dates from a list down in C191:C193 and C181:C189 respectively. There are just dates that have been entered. I can't see where they come from.

I don't know what you mean by I need to manually select all different dates in N9 so that the data in Q and S 13-20 updates.

The formulas in S13:Q20 are all causing circular references! What appears to happen is you get whatever value appears in row 8 - hence your comment about having to enter all the dates.

My question is, is this correct? I know nothing about higher finance and DCF's etc. so my question is more from ignorance than questioning your approach. What really seems strange to me is the result for 2019. I'm getting a very low result for that year, and I'm blowed if I can work out why. Too complex!

I don't think a macro is the answer, but I can't get my head around the formula because I don't understand what the 8 dates are all about or why that one year returns such a significantly lower result.

In addition, the SUMPRODUCT formula will not work because of the Circular References.

Sorry I can't be more help.

    David
