Help filtering/removing/or sorting French and English

Hi all,

I have an Excel sheet filled with keywords, and I have one column with more than 2000 keywords. I need to either filter, sort or remove based on the language. I viewed a similar question on this forum and saw that the VBA macro only removed special characters, is there any way to parse out a language? Let me know if that makes any sense or need more clarification, any and all help would be awesome!

You can see if the word is in your default (English) dictionary - for column A, this will delete words that are 'misspelled' that is, probably not English. You could also flag them somehow, and then use that flag as a filter to make sure you are only deleting what you want....

Just gave it a shot, a lot of French words were not deleted : (

A lot of English words have French origins, so that is not a surprise. You could find a French dictionary to use, and change from

Another issue is, a lot of the french words might not have all the punctation. Is there a way to just keep the english words and remove the rest?
