Segregate data into different tabs based on info in column A

    Hello All,

I am trying to create a macro that segregates all my data into different tabs based on the name in column A and then rename each tab based on what is in A2 for that tab. We have about 20 reps and this report has to be done weekly. I want it to segregate each rep into its own tab and then rename the tab based off the reps name, which would be located in $A$2 of each tab.

This is doable, but please post an example that replicates the formatting/layout of your weekly report (just for a couple three reps, no need to do 20).
I'm interested in starting a career working with VBA, if anyone knows of any opportunities!

Have you considered using a Pivot Table or a formula approach, and just have 1 sheet to show the rep (instead of a sheet per per) - with a cell to select the rep, then show their info?
    1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)

I thought of that FDibbins but pivot tables don't go over well since they don't know how to use them and they are not keen on learning. I'll post an example soon.

Here is the sample. So Ben Benson, Bobby Bobbson, Gray Grayson, Sean Seanson and Tom Thomson all segregated into their own tab. I couldn't send any actual data so I filled all columns that would have contents with SAMPLE.

I know, I'm a bit too creative with my naming process.

It works great. It's funny since I created a new sheet so that I can create a navigation dashboard for them and it is on Sheet 2022. Nicely done John, have some rep!
