I have made a spread sheet which has the annual salary of different jobs. I am trying, with the help of a formula or macros to calculate the national insurance of each staff member. Any way I can do that?

Probably, if you give more detail
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you

Yes. So for example if i am paying my receptionist £25000 per year. I want excel to calculate her national insurance and deduct it from her salary. So i need a formula to do the following:
If my employer earns say £672-3,337 then 12% will be deducted from the salary. Or if i pay my receptionist between £150-200 a week then 3% is deducted from her salary for nationL insurance
So i want excel to calculate the salary after the amount has been deducted and add the amount to expenditures since my company will pay for the national insurance . So if 10% is removed from the salary, the salary after the 10% has been deducted will show. And because i am spending 10% of the receptionists salary, so it will be added to my expenditures.
Hope its clear. And if Plz explain what each line of code or formula means and how to calculate this.
Thanks and most appreciated
Oh and forgot to add that, say i put the annual salary as 30000, it should automatically calculate the weekly salary and then once it does that, if the salary is between say £600 and £900 remove 5% or if the calculated weekly salary is between £200 and £370 then remove 7% and do the rest i mentioned above. This is just an example but thats what it should do too.
If possible to provide a solution to this on an excel document so i can see how its like
Thx again
Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.
Remember to desensitize the data.
