Using VBA to create a GUI in Excel for 8 channel USB GPIO project

Thought I would post this to help any passers-by if they need a push in the right direction if trying to determine how to program using an 8-channel USB GPIO adapter. I am not trying to sell any certain brand or device, just wanted to get an example online since I had such a hard time finding one when I started this project. The example code is from Excel 2010 with macros enabled. It determines the COM port used by the adapter and then provides the terminal commands to the adapter based on the results selected from the GUI in Excel. Please feel free to use any part of this code you desire.PLA_USB screenshot.jpg
