I have a workbook that has multiple worksheets and I want to limit the number of users who can access a worksheet to 1 at a time. So if Bob is using "Sheet1" and Joe tries to go to that same sheet, he would get a message box that says "This sheet is currently in use. Please check back later". Ideally, I'd love for the message to look at the network login and say "..currently in use by Bob Smith" but that isn't a requirement. I know how to limit the number of users in the entire workbook, but not on the sheet. Is this even possible? The entire workbook is read only but I have code in the workbook where the users are selecting search criteria that will bring them to specific rows/ columns on another worksheet so I don't want 2 users trying to search at the same time. Ideally, this project would have been in a database but this is what I have to work with - a multi-sheet Excel file. Thanks
