Paragraph mark (pilcrow) is automatically converted to a line feed

Dear community, can anyone help me with the following problem:

I have linked combobox from the excel userform (through ControlSource property) to the cell in the sheet. The combobox fails to maintain the pilcrow character ( ¶ - char(182) ), it somehow becomes the line feed character ( char(10) ) changing the intended value of the combobox and the linked cell. How can I prevent this behavior and keepthe pilcrow character in the combobox (BTW multi-line textboxes don't have such behavior).
I desperately need exactly the char(182) to be acceptable also in comboxes (due to specific typesetting).

No, unfortunately it doesn't work. I have tried to set the value of the cell through both .text and .value properties of the combobox, but it continues to mess with the pilcrow character and again converts it into the line feed.

I type the character through keyboard, like this: ¶. It works when I directly type into the cell and it evaluates to char(182).

Interestingly, when I open the form for editing combobox converts back the linefeed from the cell to the pilcrow again. And so on.
