Count words and characters of hyperlinked word documents?

Hello,
I have an excel document with many hyperlinked word documents.
Is possibile to insert in a new column the number of rows and characters of word document in hyperlink?
Example:

Please Login or Register  to view this content.

Only create a column with Yes/No.
