update a cell in C2 if I add some next text in B2

Hi, need some help and I think the only way is through VBA code
I have a list of clients in column A and a comment about them in column B. In column C, I want to display the date that I last updated the comment for each client. See screen grab attached

So for instance, if I open my excel file today and update a comment about a client in column B, the corresponding cell in row C should update with todays date.

I have no VBA knowledge so if anyone can help, please provide very basic instructions.
