    Checkbox Copy and Paste macro

What I want to do is:
If the checkbox in cell X1 is true then copy cell X2 and then paste in Cell X3 but only if Cell X4 is equal to todays date.
If it's not todays date then check cell Y4 for todays date.
If not then check cell Z4...

And so on until the cell with todays date is found.

So if Today's date, for example is found in cell Z4 then it would paste in Cell Z3. Found in Cell Y4 it would paste in cell Y3.

I have a list of checkboxes that is a checklist. This checklist needs to paste tasks in the list to the cell that represents "today".

    Thanks

(I used generic cell numbers. they don't reflect reality)

    Dear stg_williams!

The problem is not completely understood. To move forward I send a test file.
I hope you have something to do with the task at hand.
I look forward to your comments.
The cells in the first row is used as a CheckBox. Just click onto which you want.

Re: Checkbox Copy and Paste macro

    Thanks for your response.
This is a Service Report Spreadsheet that I making for our Service Department.

I have attached a picture of the checklist and the area of cells (highlighted) that the paste will happen. I should note, that if I check a box, the cell to the right will be copied. For example cell AD56 = True, Copy cell AE56 and Paste in cell A56. Now, if cell AD57 is true (Cell AD56 = True because we just checked it) then AE57 will be copied and pasted in the next available cell down. But, the range of cells is A56:A80. That range of cells represents TODAY, for example.

    The purpose of this is:
Tracking what has been done on a project VIA the checklist(internal and jobsite use primarily). And, also somewhat automating the process of recording what has been done in the service report.

    Thanks,
    STG_WILLIAMS

I would like to thank you for your answer.
Your request illustrate the file, please. In this show you what the input data and what should be the output. Written explanations also write to the file, if you think it necessary. From images difficult to obtain information (see forum rules).

Re: Checkbox Copy and Paste macro

I thought I explained it fairly well in my last post. If you check a box it copies the information to the right and pastes it in the appropriate cell based on the date.

I'm sorry. I don't know how else to explain it.
