Excel Macro to pull Outlook email addresses from Global addres list into the sheet

    Hi Team,

I am in need of a macro which should take the alias which is after the backward slash that is a123456 and it should look it up in Outlook Global address list and paste their name and email address in their respective cell.

Below is an example just for one instance:

    Creator
    abcd\a123456

    should show up like

    Creator
Tom Johnson<[email protected]> and this has to be done for the rest of the rows with different alias under creator as shown in attachment

    Kind Regards,

    4gurus

    Hi Keebellah,

Thanks for the link but I forgot to mention I am a vba novice and may not now which piece of the code to use. If you can provide me a small piece of code which I can run to populate those columns that would be great.

    Thanks!

    Hi 4gurus,
I'm sorry I cannot help you any further. I do not have an exchange server running.
All you have to do is explained in the link.
Download the file mentioned unzip the file.
Open the file and Press Alt+F8 it's explained. what happens from there on, well you will need someone with some vba knowledge to help you on.

I've attached the file for you here (unzipped).

    Good luck.
