Adding Date picker to a cell (a calendar popup)

Hi Experts,

I have tried looking into this on the forum and through the Developer addin in Excel, but am not getting what I want. I wanted to see if anyone knows of a way to add a date picker to a single cell (C9) that does not involve any other cells in the spreadsheet. What I need is when I click in the cell, a date picker (a calendar) appears and I select the date I want and it is displayed in MM/DD/YYYY format. I am sorry if this this an easy ask but I cannot seem to find anything reliable on my own.

Thank you for the quick reply. I added your code to my spreadsheet but it does not seem to be adding the calendar date picker to cell C9. Would you let me know what I am missing. Thank you again for the help on this.

Thank you very much Toonies. This is great. I have one additional question for you. If I need the date to display as MM/DD/YYYY (sorry I am in the states) would I be able to make a change to that format? Thank you again for this.
