persistent "No response" when running simple program using loops

Hello dear community,

When I run the following simple formatting macro:

Please Login or Register  to view this content.

still after 15 minutes it is not done and says "no response" (which it usually says when it runs macros using loops, but that disappears after about 30 seconds for other macros of similar complexity, and then I can go on normally). Do you know what might be the problem here?
