Use Solver or VBA w/ Dropdown List to Find Maximum Value

Thanks for everyone who reads this!

What I am trying to do is use solver or VBA to select pieces from a Drop Down List, that each have different Attack, Defense and Health Stats, for gear that maximize either Attack or Defense or Health and even possibly an optimized balance. I am attaching an example spreadsheet because my actual one is 39Mb.

    Thank you again!

    Hello ctycksen,

Good idea to upload a sample workbook.

    Unfortunately it tells us nothing.

    Attach a sample workbook.

Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate.

Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary. Especially showing us where you anticipate the Dropdowns to appear.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.

    Hi ctycksen,

Pardon me if I got your indicators wrong, but please see if the attached sample Workbook complies with your requirement.

    Thanks Winon,

What I want to do is be able to type attack in cell c24 and the final result showing the pieces that have the highest attack, defense or health depending on what I type in.

    Thank
