I run the following Macro in "unprotected" mode and it works fine. When protected I get an error on line "ActiveSheet.Range("$N$23:$N$275").RemoveDuplicates Columns:=1, Header:=xlNo"
I tried select all and unlocked all of the cells - protected the sheet and still got the error, so I know its not a "locked cell" causing the problem. What am I missing?

Unprotect the sheet programmatically and use remove duplicate code and after that protect it in code itself
