Stop Displaying "Read Only Error" when saving

Hi,
I'm working on a read only workbook. I'd like to run a sub when clicking the save button.
Excel doesn't allow me doing it since it's displaying the "Read Only error message" which prevents the sub to run.
I've tried with the following code but it's not working:

Hi BrianAll,

If you run the following code prior to activating SAVE or SAVE AS, the file attributes will be changed from 'Read Only' to 'Read/Write' and you will be allowed to save the file.

I would propose a full solution, but I don't know what the 'big picture' is.
