re-arranging cells but still filterable?

Hi, im just wondering how to get this done.

I have a large sheet that Id like to make more readable, but still have it sortable by row headers.
is this possible?

I have 2 (possibly more when finished) rows that contain a lot of text. when I wrap this text so It can be read it makes the sheet look horrible.
Id like to move those rows to columns that merge or stretch underneath the smaller rows but still move with smaller rows when sorted?

Using merged cells ic never a good idea, they cause all sorts of problems with formulas, and excel really really does not like sorting any ranges with merged cells

okay it doesn't have to be merged but I would like it to look good
