are you planning to physically have a column for Today and Tomorrow? or are you doing this as part of the visualisation of your problem?

    ie have a formula like
    Formula: copy to clipboard

Re: Select Automatic Report Filter in Pivot where Filter exist in Data table else select B

    Hi,
I want macro a select Report Filter Atutomatically.

Let's assume in Data sheet Column D (Booking Day) we have "Tomorrow" in Some rows, then In Pivot table of Tomorrow Sheet report filter has to select "Tommorrow".

If Data sheet Column D (Booking Day) we do NOT have"Tomorrow" , then In Pivot table of Tomorrow Sheet report filter has to select "Blank".

    Hope it's clear now!

    Thanks
    Vinay

what version excel are you using

i have a solution in mind that will not require you to have a column "D" for booking day (or not use it anyway) but it is dependant on your excel version

    ok
this solution works for excel 2007+

i changed the datasource to be a named range which is the table i setup for your data

below is the code i have used

the coding is commented so you can follow what is going on

i couldn't think of a better way to check the pivot field filtering
im sure there is a better way but this serves its purpose and the principal is adaptable to different solutions
