How to get cell with value other sheer

Hi,

I have a code_id in Column D8 at sheet1 this code_id is also in sheet2 with a name. Is there a code where i can i get the name in sheet2 with belongs to the code_id?

Are the code and name in the same cell on sheet2? This code assumes they are. Like D8 on Sheet1 would be "123", and then some cell in sheet2 has a value of "123Dave". In that case, namer would be "Dave"

Yes that works nice, i forgt that i also need the column next to the codename.
So Sheet2 has "B3" 123Dave and "C3" 0847333, is it also possible to get field C3?
