Userform Multipage duplication problem

I'm new to userforms. I began building a large userform and then discovered the multipage and tab tools. I tried adding multipages and no matter what I did all the controls I had on the original page duplicated themselves on every other page. I tried removing a control from one of the subsequent pages and it deleted the control from all of the pages.

I tried starting over in a demo workbook by adding the multipage tabs before adding in controls and found that the controls automatically duplicated themselves on all the pages.

What I want is to have 6 tabs with very different controls on each tab. All the demos I've seen show that this appears to be the default for excel. My office 365 2013 version seems to have a different plan. Any ideas?

If you use MultiPage, it shouldn't duplicate each page, but, using TabStrip will duplicate each control you add to either tab.
