Copying values on different rows to one line without overwriting existing data with blanks

Anyone any ideas on how to write an efficient VBA program to merge data on different Excel lines (lines 1 to 4 below i.e. just Fred's lines) so that line 1, at the end, has the data: Orange, apple, lemon, pear, lime, cherry. The main problem that I'm having is to avoid overwriting line 1 data with blank cells from lines 2, 3 and 4. Obviously mouse and horse should not appear on the top line either.

    A B C D E F G
    1 Fred apple pear cherry
    2 Fred orange
    3 Fred lemon
    4 Fred lime
    5 Sam mouse horse

    Thanks in advance!
