Excel says macros aren't enabled but they are....

Anytime I try to run my macro, I get an error that says macros are not enabled in this workbook. I've gone to macro security and told excel to always enable macros and to trust VBA then closed and reopened the files. However, excel still tells me that macros are not enabled. The file is saved as a .xlsm so that isn't the problem either.

Thoughts?

Go To File- options - trust center -trust center settings - macro settings ,
the second option down (disable all macros with notification)?

I have the exact same issue and I did exactly what you said and it I still get the same message. I changed it to run all macros and still the same. It almost seems like a bug but when searching online everyone says the same thing and yet it doesnt work for me.

You may have to Repair your office - but:

Can you post your file?

Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.

Sure, I recieved some code from another expert olly and when I attempted to run it to see if it worked I received the same error as above. No matter what changes I make I still get the error.ForHelp.xlsm

I moved your code from the worksheet to a module and that message doesn't come up anymore - unfortunately the code is still not working because the Application.Caller throws Error 2023
