macro for copying data from invoice to another sheet

Hello

I am looking for a macro to do the following.

I have a sheet named invoice. There is a button on the sheet, once clicked, I want it to copy data to another sheet that's tab reflects a date. The tab's name is a date populated by a macro that copies the data(date) in B3 cell on the same sheet to the tab.

For example. The tab reflects a pay period cut off date. January 15th, January 30th and so on. There are 24 date sheets.

So I want to be able to fill out my invoice, click the button and have it copy to the appropriate sheet with that date range. The data I wish to copy from the invoice sheet is

the invoice number C2

the date BC3

the client B7

the amount pre tax E23

if the invoice's date is between January 1-15 the data is copied to sheet January 15

If the invoice's date is between January 16-31 the data is copied to sheet January 30

If the invoice's date is between February 1-15 the dat is copied to sheet February 15

And so on.

The problem is the tabs on the date sheets could possibly change. My company sometimes changes cutoff dates. That is why I need a macro that can be with two ranges. 1 -15 16-31

If I decide to change the two ranges (e.g. 26-12 13-25) I can change it in the macro.

I hope this makes sense. I am sure there will be questions.

Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.

There are no date tabs on your sample and there is nothing in BC3 and wouldn't you want all the categories on your date tab?? -
