Naming worksheets after Cell Value

Hello ExcelForum,

I have a question regarding Naming worksheets after a name with a cell.

I am currently working on a workbook that on some of the worksheets there are student names in cell A1, i would like to know if it is possible to have it so excel changes the name of the worksheet if the name of the student in cell A1 is changed.

I have had a look online but the codes provided do not seem to do anything! Maybe i am missing a vital bit of information that is stopping them from working.

Is this possible?

We can do that but we need to know how to qualify the tabs for that procedure:

Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.
