Countdown after button click

I would like to make a countdown, so I've set a cell, E1 with time format, and given 0:02:55 as start time. After that I try to make coutdown after button click with this code, but got an error, that it isn't runnable.

Hi kovacsdev.. Welcome to the forum

Try the code below. Enter a time to count down from in E1, press start & when the countdown =0 a message box displays.
When message box Ok is pressed it quits the timer routine

Put 2 buttons on the worksheet
The Start button should be assigned to StartCountDown
The Cancel button should be assigned to StopCountdown

Normally I'd attach a workbook working example but the site won't do it AGAIN
