I am hoping someone can help me.

I have a spreadsheet with a couple of worksheets and I have it linking up exactly how i like apart from one thing.
If I put in a figure into the 'quote register' sheet, it is then stored and used on the 'project register' sheet by typing in the exact same Quote No to teh Quote Number to make the details appear (code should be visible on attachment).

This works as expected, I would like to add one more thing though. If i was to have a unique 'Quote No' such as 1001 but it had a few different parts for example 1001a, 1001b, 1001c. I would like the 'project register' to add up all the Quote No's that begin with the 1001 together if I just type 1001 into the Quote Number field.

The end product would be if I have more than one 1001 reference with an extra reference appended to it in the 'Quote register' then the 'project register' would be able to compile the values of these.

Really hope this makes sense.
