To change the background color of powerpoint slide by excel vba

Hello Gentlemen!!

I'm trying to change the background color of powerpoint slide by below code. Initially while testing the code, 1 or 2 times, slide's color changed but now it's not changing, don't know what happened. I searched the web but didn't find any solution.

Will highly appreciate your view on this.

Your slide is probably set to follow the Master and so is not obeying the VBA. Set that to FALSE first and then add your code to change the colour of the slide. This changes the 8th slide in the ActivePresentation
